Game Designer - Shaiya

Contract in Worldwide - Remote OK - Entry Level - Development


As a Game Designer, you will help us provide content. You will be involved and responsible for the full content cycle, from idealization to production delivery, and all the necessary follow-up adjustments to ensure an adamant experience for our players.


  • Ability to self-direct work after overall project direction, creating your own tasks where needed
  • Conceptualize and design content updates for the game and community
  • Document whenever necessary and share release notes both internally and for the players
  • Use the necessary tools to translate those ideas into the technical files required for the update
  • Handle updates' localization and Art using 3rd party services and providers, ensuring its quality meets the requirements
  • Work together with programmers and write clear requirements when new features are required
  • Together with the team, ensure the content is released without errors to the players

You will own the entire content pipeline, from conceptualization to execution, validation, and release.

Required Skills

  • Capacity to work with Unity and modern tools while being resilient enough to use old and proprietary ones
  • Responsibility; act responsibly. If you commit to something, deliver it. If you can't, communicate it properly
  • Ownership; fix your own problems - there is no issue in asking, but get ready to handle it
  • Get dirty; we are in a fast-paced environment. Things need to get done, regardless
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English; other languages a plus

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with LUA scripting, XML files, and Excel
  • Experience with C# is a plus
  • Previous experience in private projects (Shaiya), a huge plus
  • Knowledgeable about our games (Shaiya), being a player is a huge plus
